2. What  is  yoga  Asana


Keeping the body in a posture and not having a movement is called as " Asana". Every Asana has 3 states. If all these 3 states are done correctly then we say Asana is done. Those states are Cheyu State, Asana State, Resting State. We will see in depth.



1. First state - Cheyu State( the way Asana has to be done)


Every Asana has to be done in a proper way. In that proper way doing Asana is "Cheyu State". Means In a proper way doing Asana and from there prepare the body for second state, then First state work is over.Even though the Asana is done perfectly but didn't allow our body to come into Second state, then there is no use. Like this doing asana and immediately removing it then it is not called as "Asana". If we do like this so many Yoga asanas even everyday for 1 or 2 or 3 years there no use. To get first state benefit we must be in second state with out fail.



2.  Second state - Asana State( without movement, sitting like a rock state)


In Asana this state is the most important state. In asana posture without having movement in the body and holding the posture up to a possible time like a rock is called as " Asana State ". Whatever the benefit comes out of performing asana will depend on how much time we hold the asana posture and how is the state of our mind in the posture. If we do this state perfectly up to 60 to 70 % of result will come from here. From 3 states if any state is not done then Asana is not called as Asana. Then that is called as " Exercise ". 
Example:  For example if we think about Surya Namaskaras, These contains a combination of 12 postures which are to be done one by one immediately, then it is not said be 12 asanas we did. Because we do only first State of all Asanas postures. For these 12 postures there is no Asana posture and Rest posture. So Surya namaskaras come into exercise division but not in the Asanas division.
So many can do first State well. Thinking to complete all asanas so many will come out of the asana state very soon. Some others while performing asana state they do asana posture just like exercise by counting one, two and three and by moving front and back , they won't hold the posture properly. Like that either we won't be properly in asana state or we move front and back then it won't be said as " Asana ". We can't get the result from such asana. Instead of getting 60-70 % result we get only 20-30 %. In asanas the most important state Asana state if we do mistakes it will become exercise. Their difference will vanish.




3. Third state - Rest State( the state that give complete relaxation to the tired body )


After we do Asana state our will get tired so we have to come into Rest state for relaxation. If we get 60 -70 % of result in Asana state the remaining result 40-30 % we get in Rest state. Either by sitting or by lying we need to remove the body tiredness and need to bring the change in breathing pattern to normal by being in the Rest state for 1 or 2 mins. In this Rest state whole body, Mind, Muscles and Nerves all will get relaxed and get will get the peace. After doing the Asana state if we don't do the Rest state we won't get the complete result.

So many people who do yoga asanas perform 40 types of asanas without knowing the proper way of doing but they are  not giving the importance to the Asana and Rest States.
Like this they do and they say they are not getting result. If it is done like this no one in the world will get complete result. Because of not getting the result so many are not showing interest in Yoga Asnas, getting dropped in the middle and not at all touching them. Without knowing the true secret of the Asanas people are doing Walking, jogging, Aerobics and Jim like this they are attracted to so many things and forgot the Asanas.


To get complete understanding on Asanas, to remove the obstacles I am going to explain All 3 states for each Yoga asana and will explain in detail the importance and i Am going to explain about 15 important Asanas that we can perform every day to get complete health. Actually There are so many Yoga asnas but its not necessary to do all and of course we don't have that much time to all :-) . Do the yoga asnas as I tell and see after some time surely you will be Greatful the Legands who invented these most valuable YOGA ASANAS. Then only You will understand the power of Yoga Asanas.
